Music is my passion. I sing, teach, direct and play music every day. I have a bachelor's degree in Music from Indiana University, a master's degree in Music from The University of Northern Colorado and a second master's degree in Music Education also from the University of Northern Colorado. I hold a k-12 Colorado state teaching license in music and have over 20 years of experience working with both youth and adults. In addition to teaching and directing I perform regularly as a soloist with regional professional ensembles.

 

My goal as a music educator is to assist students in routines and exploration that will enable continued musical discovery. I believe that music education and ensemble participation is an essential part of learning the language of our soul.
